Firefly July, A Year of Very Short Poems, which was our Environmental Book Club selection earlier this month, has won the 2014 New England Independent Booksellers Association New England Book Award in the children's category. These awards are given for books either about New England, set in New England, or by an author living in New England.Firefly July is an anthology compiled by Paul B. Janeczko and illustrated by Melissa Sweet.
