Thanks for sharing this. I am always looking for activities like these. My son loves to read and reads a few grade levels ahead of his current grade. Are there any events closer to central CT or is this the whole state?
Yes, this is the whole state, as far as author appearances go. Bookstores also have child-oriented events that are run by staff. Those don't involve bringing in authors or illustrators.
