What Did You Do This Week, Gail? May 9 Edition.

Goal 1. Adhere to Goals and Objectives. A good week. By the way, one of my objectives for this goal was to plan the goals I would work on each month. Which I have been doing.

Goal 3. Generate New Short Work/Programs. Worked on:

  • The flash piece I've been working on is nearly done. Within words of being done.
  • One essay submission
  • Trying to organize my submission history in such a way that I have a better handle on places to submit
  • Also, trying to organize my short work, period
Goal 5. Community Building/General Marketing/Branding.
  • Updated website
  • Went to writers' group
  • Lockwood books posted to Goodreads
  • TMT productivity post--Promoted to Facebook, Google+, Google+ community, Twitter
  • Picture book post--Promoted to Facebook community, Google+, Google+ community, Twitter
  • Picture books posted to Goodreads
  • Lockwood & Co post--Promoted to Google+, Google+ community, Facebook community, Twitter
  • Portfolio post--Promoted to Twitter, Google+ Google+ community

 Goal 6. Generate New Work.
  • The picture book manuscript
  • Getting adult version of Becoming Greg and Emma ready for beta readers

Did I Use Anything I Learned At The Conference?

I did start reading the eBook recommended by Wendy Maas during her blueprinting workshop.

Hmm. This doesn't look like as productive a week as I felt it was. Maybe because part of what made me feel productive was the organizing I did. Which doesn't look like much but could end up doing good for me in the future.
