I made one thousand words by noon and eighteen hundred for the day.
I've been hitting the thousand word mark a lot lately, in spite of continuing to surf and play spider solitaire. I'm not at all sure what's working for me, though I have a theory. Too soon to expound on it.

Ooh, spider solitaire?
Have you played Bejeweled? Sheer addiction...
...and the hours fruitlessly pass...
I've never heard of Bejeweled. I play spider solitaire on the easiest level and still don't always win. In fact, I think I'll go have a game now.
Bejeweled is great, as is Brickshooter, which I love because it isn't a speed game, you can take all the time you want and just leave it to pick up later after you've tried to do some work. It's at Brickshooter.com.
It's really tough when your work tool is also your Busybox.
I, too, play the occasional game of Spider Solitaire - but that's usually last thing in the evening before I shut down the laptop...
Bejeweled is great. Thanks Tadmack for letting us know about it. Brickshooter is also good, but requires more thinking. Sometimes you just need to play a simple game for a while to regenerate the mind. (FYI I created and deleted the preceeding post because I just created my Blogger account and things didn't go quite as expected)
Well, this is just terrific. That last commenter was my computer guy. I'll never get any work out of him now.
Well, I better go check out Bejeweled.
