RJ Julia Bookstore is the best! (I like the Washington Depot one as well but the RJ Julia is really special)
It definitely is THE bookstore in this state for author appearances. Bank Street Books in Mystic does lunch w/the author events, which are neat (the one I went to was, anyway), but R.J. Julia does more child/YA authors.
