She's been doing some kind of bus tour recently. The Fairfield U appearance may be part of that.
Personally, I was swooning over Sophie Blackall at the Connecticut Children's Book Fair, but, oh wait, so are so many listed here. Wish I could go to all these events.
I had not heard of her before. That's the beauty of the Connecticut Children's Book Fair. They often get new people, giving them exposure. One year they had one or two new illustrators who had just had their debut books released and reviewed.
Thanks for doing this!! We just moved to CT this summer and I was wondering what great book events were going on near me. How lovely that you've put together this list. Thanks again!
